Welcome!
I’m Sammy Kinder, the owner of Kind.er!
I am a Counsellor registered with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) and a Child-Centered Play Therapist.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science/Counselling and I have undertaken 10+ years of additional training in mental health, neurodiversity, parenting and talk/play/creative art therapies.
Through counselling and child-centered play therapy, I support your child to explore their emotions in evidence-based, age-appropriate and neuro-affirming ways. Ensuring they feel safe, seen and supported.
Alongside my work with children, I have a special interest in supporting parents. As a parent of two neurodivergent children, I understand firsthand the complexity, beauty, and challenges that come with parenting. Through my online parent support sessions, I offer a compassionate space that honors your role and reality of parenting. Whether you’re navigating big emotions, challenging behaviours, or simply want to strengthen your connection with your child—I’m here to walk alongside you and offer practical and evidence-based parenting strategies and support.
If you’d like to connect further… I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your uniquely wonderful child.
